SUP Rental at Shaker Landing

Service Description

New for 2024 are SUP rentals at Shaker Landing on the Kentucky River! Make your reservation for a specific start time, fill out your paperwork online, and then away you go for some time exploring the river. You'll go under the famous High Bridge and have a choice to head up the Dix River where the water runs cooler or stay the course up the Kentucky River. If you are looking for guided tours or a SUP 101 skills class, head over to Reserve Now and look for those events. Advanced reservations are required, no on-site bookings. Ages: 12+ (kids must be accompanied by parent on the water) Location: Shaker Landing at Shaker Village Off Highway 68 on Shaker Ferry Road Don't worry, we will send you a google maps link to get you where you need to be. ​Bring: Water shoes, hat, towel, sunscreen, bug spray and wear suitable clothes in case you end up in the Kentucky River. ​Optional: Make a reservation at the Trustee's Table at Shaker Village for Lunch or Dinner. These reservations fill up so hurry!

Cancellation, Liability Wiavers, and Rental Agreement Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY. Reservations are paid in full at the time of reservation and no exchanges or returns can be made. A transfer of the reservation to a different client may be allowable, contact the KBP office. No transfers can be made the day of the reservation. At this time, there are no refunds for illness, inclement weather or non-usage. In the case of dangerous weather, we will try our best to reschedule you for a future reservation subject to availability. EQUIPMENT DAMAGE. Rental fees do not cover any portion of damages to equipment. Any damaged equipment interfering with the rental or reservation of another will be charged the entire cost of the other rental in addition to all equipment repair and/or replacement costs. LIABILITY WAIVERS AND RENTAL AGREEMENTS. A liability waiver and rental agreement must be completed prior to release of equipment.
